
I was browsing around on NerdFitness.com and I came across Steve’s very informative post on How To Do The Perfect Dip. In the post he pretty much covers every aspect of the dip except variations to make the dip much harder.
Why do I want a hard exercise to be harder?
After you have been dipping for 6 months or so you are going to notice that it takes quite a few reps to reach max. I prefer to workout with bodyweight exercises only so simply adding plates isn’t really an option. Below are some variations you can use to make it harder.
Walking Dips
These are a great step up from regular dips:
- Perform a regular dip.
- Walk both hands one ‘step’ along the parallel par.
